GAIS - Malmö FF (0 - 0)
Match in Allsvenskan 2010
Match start: 2010-03-15 at 19:00
Venue: Gamla Ullevi
Attendance: 4,980

On a chilly Monday evening in March, GAIS and Malmö FF met at Gamla Ullevi in front of a relatively small crowd of 4,980 spectators. Referee Martin Hansson kicked off the match, and both teams showed a high tempo right from the start.

GAIS tried to take control of the match and created several chances in the first half, but Malmö FF's defense worked hard to keep a clean sheet. Hallgrímur Jónasson received an early yellow card, and GAIS decided to make a substitution at halftime, with Kyle Patterson replacing Eyjólfur Héðinsson.

In the second half, GAIS continued to push forward and created several dangerous goal-scoring opportunities. However, Malmö FF's goalkeeper was alert and managed to save every shot that came his way. Reuben Ayarna received a yellow card in the 50th minute and later also a red card in the 81st minute. GAIS was forced to play the rest of the match with one player less.

Malmö FF took advantage of GAIS's diminished squad strength and pushed forward. They introduced Jimmy Durmaz and Jiloan Mohamed Hamad in the 82nd minute, but they also failed to find the net. GAIS continued to fight and made substitutions in the 85th and 90th minutes, but none managed to score. The match thus ended in a 0-0 draw.

GAIS is now in 10th place in the standings, while Malmö FF sits in 6th place. Both teams take away one point each from the match and will meet again later in the season.
