The first Allsvenskan match of the year at Råsunda between IF Brommapojkarna and AIK ended in a draw, 0 - 0. The match was even and exciting, but the chances remained few and without goals.

The game kicked off at 16:00 on a Saturday afternoon in front of an audience of 4,304 people. Referee Martin Ingvarsson, along with assistant referees Peter Vesterholm and Daniel Wärnmark, officiated the match.

IF Brommapojkarna, who are in 14th place in the table, received their first yellow card after 24 minutes when Andreas Eriksson tackled a bit too hard. AIK, who are in 5th place, received their first yellow card after 47 minutes when Per Karlsson also tackled a bit too hard.

The match remained scoreless at halftime. In the 56th minute, IF Brommapojkarna received another yellow card when Andreas Chhadeh tackled a bit too hard. Immediately after that, in the 57th minute, IF Brommapojkarna made their first substitution as Babis Stefanidis replaced Dalil Benyahia.

IF Brommapojkarna continued to press but without result. AIK had two players cautioned in the 75th minute, Sebastián Eguren Ledesma and Pontus Segerström. AIK substituted Martin Kayongo-Mutumba for Daniel Gustafsson in the 76th minute in an attempt to find an opening in IF Brommapojkarna's defense.

IF Brommapojkarna substituted Joakim Runnemo for Nabil Bahoui in the 78th minute, but it did not help either team score. In the 82nd minute, Sebastián Eguren Ledesma had to leave the field after receiving his second yellow card of the match and was thus sent off.

The AIK warriors played with one man down for just over ten minutes. In the 86th minute, Bojan Djordjic, along with Sebastián, received a yellow card, but he was allowed to continue playing. However, he would not last much longer. After 86 minutes, AIK's Kenny Pavey also received an unfortunate red card after a questionable situation. Niklas Backman replaced Bojan Djordjic while Pontus Engblom replaced Antônio Flávio Aires dos Santos.

The match ended 0 - 0, something neither team would be satisfied with. It was an even and exciting match, but there were not many goal opportunities in this game. AIK needs more power in their attacks and better defense if they are to continue moving up the table. IF Brommapojkarna needs to work harder to score more goals if they are to climb the standings.
