Malmö FF managed to win a tough away match against Kalmar FF on Sunday afternoon at Fredriksskans. The crowd of 4,577 witnessed a goal-filled encounter that ended 3-2 in favor of the visitors.

Kalmar FF took the lead in the twelfth minute through Abiola Dauda, but Malmö responded quickly, equalizing just three minutes later through Edward Junior Ofere. Tobias Eriksson then restored Kalmar's lead in the sixteenth minute, but Malmö was not going to give up.

Wilton Figueiredo equalized for Malmö in the 52nd minute, and Markus Halsti then scored the decisive goal in the 58th minute in favor of Malmö. Kalmar tried to find a way back into the match, but Malmö held on to secure an important away victory.

The match was not without controversy as Malmö's Jeffrey Aubynn received a yellow card in the 35th minute, and Kalmar received two yellow cards later in the match through Mattias Johansson and Daniel Freire Mendes. Referee Markus Strömbergsson kept his cool and maintained control of the match.

Malmö also made a substitution at halftime when Ivo Dominik Pekalski replaced Robert Åhman Persson. Jiloan Mohamed Hamad and Jimmy Durmaz were also substituted into the match later for Malmö, while Ricardo Da Silva Dos Santos came on for Kalmar.

A tough and evenly matched game at Fredriksskans ultimately ended with an important victory for Malmö FF, who now take the lead in Allsvenskan. Kalmar FF returns home with a defeat but has much to build on for the rest of the season.
