Kalmar FF achieved a much-awaited victory as they beat Örebro 4-1 at home on Wednesday evening. Daniel Freire Mendes opened the scoring for the home team in the 30th minute after a fine pass from Stefan Ålander. The guests from Örebro fought back and managed to equalize through Marcus Astvald just seven minutes later. Alejandro Bedoya received a yellow card for the guests in the 37th minute.

In the second half, Kalmar FF showed they wanted to win the match. Ricardo Da Silva Dos Santos scored his second goal of the evening in the 55th minute, giving the home team a 2-1 lead. Magnus Kilberg received a yellow card for Örebro in the 61st minute.

Kalmar FF continued to press forward, and Da Silva Dos Santos netted his second goal of the evening in the 65th minute. Daryl Smylie received a yellow card for the home team in the 67th minute and was then substituted in the 70th minute. The guests tried to put pressure on the home team but were unable to get back into the game.

Henrik Rydström scored the final goal for the home team in the 77th minute with a penalty. Örebro attempted to apply pressure on the home team but could not come back.
