An exciting match took place at Gamla Ullevi in the Allsvenskan between GAIS and IF Brommapojkarna on Monday evening in front of 3,035 fans in attendance. Referee Magnus Ahlsén was joined by assistant referees Henrik Bogdan and Daniel Gustavsson.
IF Brommapojkarna played very offensively from the start, and their efforts paid off just four minutes in when Sinan Ayranci scored and took the lead at 1-0. GAIS was determined not to give up and fought their way back into the match.
In the 37th minute, GAIS equalized when Eyjólfur Héðinsson scored to make it 1-1. After the goal, both teams continued to play aggressively, leading to several warnings from the referees, including two warnings for IF Brommapojkarna in the 32nd and 33rd minutes for Sinan Ayranci and Kim Odelius.
During the second half, the game remained very even between the teams. GAIS made several substitutions, including bringing on Tommy Lycén in the 63rd minute and Joel Anell in the 67th minute.
