It was Sunday afternoon and Strömvallen was packed as Gefle IF FF hosted IF Brommapojkarna in the Allsvenskan. Referee Stefan Johannesson, along with assistants Peter Vesterholm and Christian Andersson, had their hands full keeping track of the game.

The match started evenly and both teams played with high intensity. However, in the 24th minute, Gefle made their first substitution, bringing in Dragan Kapcevic for Jakob Orlov.
