On a sunny Sunday afternoon, Djurgården and AIK faced off at Tele2 Arena in front of an audience of nearly 19,000 people. It was a match that would prove to be full of action, and while AIK came out strong and took the lead with a penalty from Kenny Pavey just 9 minutes into the game, Djurgården showed that they would not give up easily.

As AIK continued to press on, Djurgården remained a constant threat, and it was only a matter of time before they equalized. This happened in the 42nd minute when Chibuike Kennedy Igboananike found the back of the net, making it 1-1 for Djurgården.

In the second half, Djurgården displayed their best play. Despite AIK's desperate attempts to regain the lead, it was Djurgården who would score the decisive goal. In the 47th minute, Sharbel Touma made it 2-1, giving Djurgården the lead for the first time in the match.

AIK fought hard to find a way to retake the lead, but Djurgården's defense was unyielding and resisted all attacks. The match ended with a victory for Djurgården, who now solidify their position in 5th place in the standings, while AIK remains in 14th place. Referee 000001205 had a calm match and issued only two yellow cards; one to Robert Åhman Persson from AIK and one to Daniel Sjölund from Djurgården.
