AIK defeated IF Elfsborg 2-0 in an exciting match on Sunday evening at Råsunda. The attendance was 11,670.

The match started with a lot of pressure from AIK, who created several dangerous chances. After 37 minutes, AIK's Kenny Pavey received a yellow card for a foul tackle. After 50 minutes, Mohamed Bangura scored a beautiful header from a corner, giving AIK a 1-0 lead.

IF Elfsborg tried to put pressure on AIK in the second half but struggled to create any really dangerous goal-scoring opportunities. After 65 minutes, Daniel Mobaeck received a yellow card for a tough tackling attempt.

With only 18 minutes left on the clock, Viktor Lundberg scored AIK's second goal with a magnificent half-volley. After the goal, Lundberg received a yellow card for celebrating too exuberantly with his teammates.

AIK made two substitutions after the goal, and Elfsborg tried to make several changes to create new goal-scoring chances. However, no one managed to improve the score. AIK's Admir Catovic was substituted in with only five minutes left in the match, and AIK maintained their lead until the final whistle.
