Trelleborgs FF and Örebro faced off in an exciting Allsvenskan match at Vångavallen in Trelleborg on Sunday afternoon. With Trelleborg in sixth place in the standings and Örebro in third, it was an important match for both teams to finish the season strongly.

Although the match was tough and several yellow cards were handed out, it was a relatively even game between the teams for most of the match. In the sixth minute, Örebro player Alejandro Bedoya received a yellow card, and it would prove to be the start of many cards throughout the match.

Trelleborg made their first substitution in the eleventh minute when Marcus Pode was replaced by Joakim Nilsson Ingves. Trelleborgs FF's Ibrahim Koroma also received a yellow card in the nineteenth minute. Örebro made their first substitution with a quarter of an hour left in the first half when Nordin Gerzic was substituted for Per Johansson.

After the halftime break, both teams rallied again and continued to challenge each other. Bertin Samuel Ze Ndille received a yellow card in the fiftieth minute, followed by a yellow card for Joakim Nilsson Ingves ten minutes later. Örebro made their second substitution in the seventy-fifth minute, with Marcus Astvald coming off for Erik Nilsson.

With seven minutes left in the match, Trelleborgs FF made their second substitution by bringing Joakim Sjöhage on for Mattias Adelstam. This would turn out to be a masterstroke as just three minutes later, Sjöhage managed to score the only goal of the match, giving Trelleborgs FF a 1-0 lead. However, Sjöhage received a yellow card after the goal.

Örebro made their final substitution with three minutes left in the match, replacing Bertin Samuel Ze Ndille with Simon Menardi. Trelleborgs FF made their last substitution in the final minute of the match when Robin Jakobsson came on for Fredrik Jensen.

When the referee blew the whistle after ninety minutes of tension and struggle, it was Trelleborgs FF who could celebrate the victory and finish the season in fifth place. Örebro had to settle for third place.
