AIK won a fantastic match 2-0 against IFK Göteborg at Råsunda. The attendance record of 17,375 spectators witnessed a game that featured several scoring opportunities and some tough tackles.

Already in the seventeenth minute, Karl Svensson of IFK received a yellow card for a foul tackle. Just a few minutes later, AIK took the lead after a beautiful goal by Nils-Eric Johansson, assisted by Kenny Pavey.

IFK continued to apply pressure, but AIK's defense held firm, and Jakob Olsson Johansson received a yellow card for a dangerous tackle.
