Djurgården secured a well-deserved victory against Halmstads BK at home at Stockholm Stadion. After a tough start with a yellow card for Halmstad's Marcus Olsson in the eighth minute and a red card for Nauzet Perez in the 36th minute, Djurgården took the lead in the 40th minute through Chibuike Kennedy Igboananike.

In the second half, the home team continued to press, and in the 47th minute, Sebastian Rajalakso extended the lead to 2-0 after a nice pass from Daniel Sjölund. After that, Halmstad struggled to find a way back into the match, and Djurgården was able to secure a much-needed three points.

The match was contested by both teams until referee Jonas Eriksson blew the whistle in the 90th minute, in front of an audience of 7,329 spectators. Djurgården can now look forward to the next match while Halmstads BK will have to continue fighting to earn points in the Allsvenskan.
