AIK defeated IFK Norrköping FK 3-0 in a match played at Råsunda on Wednesday evening. It was a close match in the first few minutes, with both teams striving to take control of the ball. However, in the 24th minute, AIK made their first substitution when Nicklas Maripuu replaced Daniel Tjernström. This would prove to be an important change.

Just five minutes later, Ibrahim Teteh Bangura scored for AIK following an assist from Kenny Pavey, putting AIK in the lead with 1-0. Norrköping fought on, but it was AIK that continued to dominate the match. In the 35th minute, Ibrahim Teteh Bangura scored his second goal of the evening after yet another assist from Kenny Pavey, and AIK led 2-0.

Just two minutes later, Mohamed Bangura scored AIK's third goal, effectively sealing the match for Norrköping. Anders Wikström received a yellow card in the 37th minute for IFK Norrköping FK, while Robert Åhman Persson received a yellow card for AIK shortly after the break.

AIK continued to dominate the second half, and in the 60th minute, Kwame Amponsah Karikari was substituted in for Ibrahim Teteh Bangura. Norrköping also made substitutions in an attempt to improve their offense, but AIK maintained their 3-0 lead. Amponsah Karikari received a yellow card in the 88th minute, but the match had long since been decided.
