In Thursday evening's Allsvenskan match at Södertälje Fotbollsarena, Syrianska FC faced Mjällby AIF. In front of 1,585 spectators, referee Tobias Mattsson started the match.

Already after six minutes, home team player Ivan Ristic received a warning, but it was the away team Mjällby who would take the lead just a minute later. David Löfquist scored a stunning goal, putting the guests ahead 1-0.

However, it didn’t take long for Syrianska to equalize. Just before half-time, Imad Zatara managed to convert the ball into the net following a nice assist from Dinko Felic. The score was 1-1 at half-time.

After the break, Mjällby substituted Patrik Rosengren for Adam Berner, but Syrianska seemed to have found their rhythm and took the lead through Peter Ijeh after 60 minutes, assisted by Ivan Ristic.

Mjällby continued to fight, but it was Syrianska who would score again. With just a few minutes left in the match, Abgar Barsom found Erkan Saglik, who was able to net Syrianska's third goal of the evening, which would turn out to be the final score.

The match concluded with two additional yellow cards, one for Syrianska's Obie Etie Ikechukwu and another for Mjällby's Tobias Grahn, but it was Syrianska who emerged victorious.

After this evening's win, Syrianska FC sits in eleventh place in the table, while Mjällby AIF is second to last.
