On Sunday afternoon, GAIS and Malmö FF faced off at Gamla Ullevi in an exciting match in Allsvenskan. In front of a crowd of 5,104, GAIS started strong and took the lead after just two minutes through Mervan Celik, assisted by Wanderson Do Carmo Carneiro. GAIS then kept up the pressure and created more dangerous chances, but Malmö FF fought back and put pressure on the home team.

After 19 minutes, Richard Ntomba Ekunde received a yellow card for GAIS, while Wilton Figueiredo received his first yellow card for Malmö FF after 27 minutes. Agon Mehmeti and Simon Kroon also received yellow cards for the away team during the first half.

In the second half, GAIS continued to have control over the match, and after 50 minutes, Mervan Celik was substituted for Jonas Lundén. However, Malmö FF also tried to fight their way back into the game, and after an hour, Daniel Andersson received a red card for the away team.

Wilton Figueiredo then received a second yellow card and was sent off for Malmö FF after 78 minutes, being replaced by Yago Fernandez Prieto. GAIS substituted Romario Pereira Sipiao for Eric Magloire Bassombeng after 84 minutes, and Razak Omotoyossi for Alvaro Santos after 89 minutes.

GAIS then held on to their lead and won the match 2-0. An impressive performance from the home team, who now climb to sixth place in the table, while the away team, Malmö FF, falls to seventh place. A tough match with a lot of struggle for the ball and several yellow cards and red cards, but in the end, it was GAIS who emerged victorious.
