Kalmar FF came from behind to win in a well-played match against IFK Norrköping FK at Platinumcars Arena. The home team took the lead through a nice combination between Marcus Falk Olander and Astrit Ajdarevic after a quarter of an hour. Kalmar FF created several chances during the first half, but it wasn't until the 39th minute that Kristoffer Fagercrantz equalized with a free kick from Erik Israelsson.
After the break, Kalmar FF continued to take the initiative, and in the 65th minute, they were rewarded when Ricardo Da Silva Dos Santos rose highest at a corner and headed in the winning goal behind a helpless Isak Pettersson in the IFK Norrköping goal. IFK Norrköping tried to push for an equalizer, but Kalmar FF held on and secured their place in third in the table.
Unfortunately for IFK Norrköping, they were also forced to make a dismissal in the 70th minute when coach Jan Andersson had to leave the pitch after an angry discussion with referee Johan Hamlin. Despite the defeat, IFK Norrköping put up a good fight and showed that they are capable of challenging the other teams in Allsvenskan.
