AIK won today’s match against Kalmar FF at home in Råsunda. In front of an enthusiastic crowd, the home team started strong and created several dangerous chances early in the match. In the third minute, they took the lead 1-0 after a nice assist from Ibrahim Teteh Bangura to Robert Åhman Persson, who placed the ball in the net following a good run.
Kalmar then attempted to get back into the match, but AIK’s defense stood firm and prevented the opponents from creating any dangerous chances. Instead, the home team continued to apply pressure, and in the 35th minute, Mohamed Bangura doubled the lead to 2-0.
Kalmar tried to come back in the second half and made a substitution at halftime, bringing on Ricardo Da Silva Dos Santos to replace Abiola Dauda. Despite several dangerous situations for both teams, the first half of the second half did not result in any new goals.
In the 80th minute, however, Kalmar reduced the lead to 2-1 after Daniel Lopes Silva scored with a nice finish. Kalmar continued to push for an equalizer, but AIK’s defense held strong and secured a vital home victory.
