Djurgården and GAIS met on Sunday evening at Stockholm Stadium in front of an audience of 5,527 people. The referee for the match was Michael Lerjéus, assisted by Per Brogevik and Mikael Hallin.

Already in the second minute, GAIS's Markus Gustafsson scored and took the lead at 0-1, assisted by Mervan Celik. Djurgården fought to equalize, and in the 57th minute, Peter Nymann Mikkelsen managed to score and bring the score to 1-1.
