It was a very exciting match played at Vångavallen in Trelleborg on Sunday afternoon. Trelleborgs FF took the lead early in the match through Kristian Haynes, who scored in the third minute. The home team dominated most of the play after the first goal, and Mjällby AIF seemed unable to catch the ball or create any dangerous chances.

However, in the 34th minute, Mjällby AIF finally managed to equalize through David Löfquist, which lifted both the players and the 2,295 spectators in the stands. Just three minutes later, Mjällby AIF had another great chance thanks to Marcus Ekenberg, who, with a nice assist from Mzee Patrick Ooko Osiako, shot the ball into the net and took the lead 2-1.

Trelleborgs FF then showed that they were not going to give up easily, but Mjällby AIF’s defense, particularly Jesper Westerberg, maintained their composure and managed to stop all attempts. In the second half, several substitutions were made on both sides, but unfortunately for Trelleborgs FF, it was Mjällby AIF who had the most luck and held on until the end.

The match referee, Stefan Johannesson, maintained a good and stable level, and the match flowed well throughout. However, there were four cautions during the match, two for each team.

In summary, it was a well-played match that offered a lot of excitement and chances for both teams. But in the end, it was Mjällby AIF who won 2-1 and took home three important points.
