It was an exciting match between Kalmar FF and GAIS at Guldfågeln Arena on Friday evening. Both teams were fighting to improve their position in the Allsvenskan table. Strangely enough, it was GAIS that took the lead with a beautiful pass from Linus Tornblad finding Wanderson Do Carmo Carneiro, who scored GAIS' first goal in the sixth minute.

Kalmar didn't give up and fought back. Abiola Dauda put in a magnificent performance and equalized for Kalmar in the 23rd minute with a pass from Jörgen Skjelvik. Kalmar was in good spirits when Tobias Eriksson delivered a perfect pass to Dauda for his second goal of the evening in the 29th minute.

The match continued with intensity as Kalmar’s Alioune Diouf received a yellow card in the 39th minute. The second half was just as intense as the first, with numerous chances for both sides. Kalmar had another player booked, Archford Gutu in the 48th minute.

GAIS made a substitution in the 60th minute, with Mervan Celik replacing Calum Angus. But it was in the 70th minute when GAIS made two changes, bringing in Peter Ijeh for Romario Pereira Sipiao.

Kalmar also made two substitutions in the 87th minute, with Sebastian Andersson replacing Archford Gutu and Jonathan McDonald Porras replacing Abiola Dauda.

The match heightened further when Jakob Olsson from GAIS scored a late goal in the 91st minute, assisted by Peter Ijeh. GAIS also received a yellow card for Erik Berg in the 93rd minute.

The match ended 2-2, which means Kalmar FF is in 12th place in the Allsvenskan table while GAIS is in 13th. Referee Michael Lerjéus did a good job along with assistant referees Joakim Flink and Daniel Ekman, and 5,585 spectators enjoyed an exciting football match.
