BK Häcken is back on the winning track in Allsvenskan after tonight's match against IFK Norrköping FK. In front of an average crowd of 2,518 at Rambergsvallen, the home team faced Norrköping, who would prove to be without a chance.
Already in the fifth minute, BK Häcken opened the scoring as Waris Majeed showcased his skill in front of the opponent’s goal. Martin Ericsson provided the fine pass that resulted in the first goal.
It didn’t take long for Waris Majeed to increase his goal tally. On the edge of the penalty area, he curled the ball into the net following a great assist from Martin Ericsson. After 13 minutes, the score was 2-0, and the Gazeborians were in full control at Rambergsvallen.
IFK Norrköping tried to get back into the game, but just before half-time, the home team extended their lead. Waris Majeed struck again and completed his hat trick with a lovely pass from Andreas Drugge. Before the referee blew for half-time, Martin Ericsson also got on the scoresheet, entering the dressing room with great confidence. The guests from Norrköping had nothing to counter with and went into the break facing a 4-0 deficit.
In the second half, Häcken continued to dominate the match, and just seven minutes in, Waris Majeed scored for the fourth time that night. Björn Anklev and Dioh Williams had also been substituted into the game, contributing with hard work and good play.
When Waris Majeed got another opportunity, he of course made no mistake. That evening, he would prove to be in top form. Tom Söderberg and Andreas Drugge also made valuable contributions in midfield.
During the match, referee Daniel Stålhammar issued a warning to IFK Norrköping's Astrit Ajdarevic, who was then substituted in the 78th minute in favor of Shpëtim Hasani. However, despite this change, nothing would change, and the final whistle blew.
BK Häcken won the match 6-0 and was able to celebrate a well-deserved victory together with their fans at Rambergsvallen. Waris Majeed was of course named the man of the match after his fantastic performance with four goals and one assist. An evening that will surely be remembered by all who were there.
