Kalmar FF's efforts paid off in the 80th minute when Jonathan McDonald Porras equalized the match with a goal, assisted by Daniel Freire Mendes.
Helsingborgs IF tried to regain the lead and made a substitution, bringing Alvaro Santos on for Alfred Finnbogason in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, Helsingborgs IF couldn't manage to score again, and the match ended in a draw with a score of 1-1.
The match was an intense and well-played affair, and referee Stefan Johannesson, assistant referees Stefan Hallberg and Björn Lindroth, as well as the players, did a great job.
