Sunday evening and Platinumcars Arena was filled to capacity with 7502 football fans ready for the match between IFK Norrköping FK and Kalmar FF in Allsvenskan. Referee Tobias Mattsson kicked off the match at 6:30 PM, and Kalmar FF took the lead early in the 33rd minute when Abiola Dauda scored. Sebastian Andersson provided the assist.

IFK Norrköping FK had several chances to equalize before halftime, but without results. Imad Khalili received a yellow card after committing a foul that led to a free kick for Kalmar FF in the 45th minute.

The second half started with a high tempo, and IFK Norrköping FK showed their determination to take back the match. In the 62nd minute, Gunnar Heidar Thorvaldsson finally equalized for the home team, with an assist from Lars Christian Krogh Gerson.

Kalmar FF responded with two substitutions; Daniel Freire Mendes and Jonathan Mc Donald Porras came on in the 71st minute to try to regain the lead. But it was IFK Norrköping FK that scored the decisive goal in the 83rd minute, again through Gunnar Heidar Thorvaldsson, this time assisted by Christoffer Nyman.

Kalmar FF continued to fight but couldn't manage to get the ball into the net. Melker Hallberg was substituted in the 84th minute and tried to help, but it was in vain. IFK Norrköping FK made a final substitution in the 87th minute when Nikola Tkalcic came on for Bobbie Friberg José Da Cruz.

The match ended 2-1 in favor of IFK Norrköping FK, who showed great fighting spirit and managed to turn the game to their advantage. Kalmar FF went home empty-handed but with the knowledge that they put in a good performance in a hard-fought match.
