GIF Sundsvall secured an important victory when they faced Mjällby AIF in an Allsvenskan match at the Idrottsparken. The home team started strongly and took the lead just 4 minutes in when Emil Forsberg shot the ball behind the Mjällby goalkeeper. Ari Freyr Skúlason provided the assist for the goal. However, Mjällby fought back into the match and equalized thanks to Pär Eriksson after a nice pass from Marcus Ekenberg.
