BK Häcken secured an important victory against GAIS at Rambergsvallen in the Allsvenskan. GAIS started strong and took the lead 1-0 through Romario Pereira Sipiao in the 26th minute, assisted by Wanderson Do Carmo Carneiro. However, BK Häcken fought back and equalized to 1-1 through Martin Ericsson in the 41st minute, with an assist from Kari Arkivuo.

The second half continued at the same high pace, and GAIS received two yellow cards, to Erik Berg and Wanderson Do Carmo Carneiro. In the 67th minute, GAIS made their first substitution, with Joakim Edström replacing Linus Tornblad.
