Helsingborgs IF hosted a goal fest as they defeated Kalmar FF 7-2 at home in the Allsvenskan. Right from the third minute, Helsingborg took the lead when Alfred Finnbogason scored with precision to make it 1-0. After fourteen minutes, Thomas Braathen Sørum extended the lead to 2-0 with an assist from May Mahlangu.
Kalmar FF reduced the deficit to 2-1 through Etrit Berisha in the 38th minute, but before halftime, Helsingborg had increased their lead by two more goals. Alfred Finnbogason was on the scoresheet again, this time assisted by Daniel Nordmark, and Jere Uronen scored his first goal of the match.
After the halftime break, Kalmar FF showed a bit more energy and reduced the score to 4-2 with a goal from Papa Alioune Diouf, assisted by Tobias Eriksson. However, it was Helsingborg's day, and they responded immediately with a goal from Rachid Bouaouzan in the 57th minute, assisted by Finnbogason.
Helsingborg's coach Stefan Nilsson took the opportunity to substitute Alvaro Santos and Erik Sundin, which had an immediate effect. Daniel Nordmark scored to make it 6-2 in the 72nd minute, and Santos also added a goal eight minutes later.
