It was a lovely Sunday afternoon at Gamla Ullevi when IFK Göteborg faced Mjällby AIF in an Allsvenskan match. The crowd of 5,758 spectators witnessed an early goal from the home team as Daniel Lopes Silva found the net with an assist from Tobias Hysén in the first minute.

However, Mjällby AIF was not in the mood to let IFK Göteborg take control of the match so early and equalized with a goal of their own in the 42nd minute. Pär Eriksson scored with an assist from Viktor Agardius, and the game was open once again.

IFK Göteborg, however, wanted to win, and in the 58th minute, they increased the pressure, and Daniel Lopes Silva struck again, this time with an assist from David Moberg Karlsson. Mjällby made a substitution in the 62nd minute, bringing on Robin Cederberg for Patrik Rosengren, but just four minutes later, the team received a warning for a foul tackle committed by Viktor Agardius. IFK Göteborg made a double substitution in the 64th minute, looking to secure the victory. Robin Söder came on for David Moberg Karlsson, and Mjällby made a substitution of their own, bringing on Mostapha El Kabir for Pär Eriksson.

However, Mjällby found the net in the 69th minute, as Marcus Ekenberg scored with an assist from Mostapha El Kabir, and it looked as though the visitors could take the lead. Mjällby made another substitution in the 76th minute, bringing on Marcus Pode for Daniel Nicklasson.

Despite that goal, IFK Göteborg did not back down, and in the 86th minute, Pontus Farnerud scored a crucial goal assisted by Tobias Hysén.
