GAIS made their final substitution when Peter Ijeh replaced Linus Tornblad in the 87th minute. Ludvig Öhman Silwerfeldt received a warning during the three minutes of added time, but the match ended with a victory for Kalmar FF, 2-1. GAIS was left defeated and now sits in second-to-last place in the standings while Kalmar FF is in 8th place.
