AIK continued their strong form by defeating Djurgården 3–0 at Råsunda, in front of an audience of 30,857 spectators. The match started evenly, but it was AIK who took the lead in the 49th minute when Kwame Amponsah Karikari scored after a nice assist from Martin Lorentzson. Djurgården tried to come back into the match but received a warning in the 57th minute when Erton Fejzullahu went in too hard in a challenge.

In the 69th minute, AIK made a substitution as Lalawele Atakora replaced Martin Kayongo-Mutumba. This substitution proved to have positive effects for AIK, as Mohamed Bangura scored in the 71st minute, increasing AIK's lead to 2-0. A minute later, AIK made another substitution when Henok Goitom replaced Daniel Gustafsson.

Djurgården tried to shake things up with a substitution in the 76th minute when Philip Hellqvist replaced Simon Tibbling, but in stoppage time, AIK struck again when Celso Borges Mora scored in the 86th minute with an assist from Helgi Valur Danielsson, making it 3–0 for AIK.
