Malmö FF secured an important victory in their pursuit of the championship on Friday evening when they faced Djurgården at home at Swedbank Stadion. In front of an audience of 15,107 spectators, it was the home team that took the lead after 22 minutes through Simon Thern, who received a nice pass from Tokelo Rantie. Djurgården fought to equalize, and they succeeded when Peter Nymann Mikkelsen made it 1-1 just four minutes later.
