IFK Norrköping FK won an important away match in Kalmar after defeating Kalmar FF 2-0 at Guldfågeln Arena in the Allsvenskan. Isaac Thelin opened the scoring for the guests in the 38th minute when he managed to outsmart Kalmar goalkeeper Robert Henriksson with a well-placed shot. Thelin had just received a yellow card earlier, making the goal even more impressive.
In the second half, Norrköping continued to play aggressively and had chances to extend their lead early on. In the 78th minute, substitute Marcus Falk Olander sealed the victory for the away team after a nice assist from Thelin.
Kalmar tried to respond but struggled to break through Norrköping's well-organized defense. After several substitutions from both teams, Kalmar fell apart when goalkeeper coach Donald Arvidsson was sent off during stoppage time. IFK Norrköping FK remained in sixth place in the standings, while Kalmar FF still hopes to qualify for the Europa League as seventh.
