Helsingborgs IF got off to a dream start in the match, scoring 1-0 with a beautiful goal from Mattias Lindström just five minutes in. Djurgården then tried to find their way back into the game, but Helsingborg's defense was strong and held firm.

After about half an hour of play, Helsingborg increased their lead when David Accam scored to make it 2-0 with an assist from Alejandro Bedoya. Djurgården managed to create some dangerous chances, but Helsingborg's goalkeeper was solid and saved the situation each time.

In the 34th minute, David Accam scored his second goal of the evening, increasing Helsingborg's lead to 3-0, putting Djurgården in a real bind. Before the end of the first half, Christoffer Andersson from Helsingborg was booked, along with Jesper Arvidsson from Djurgården.

The match ended with a well-deserved victory for Helsingborgs IF, who showcased a strong defense and efficient attacking play. Ardian Gashi from Helsingborg was also booked in the 85th minute.
