On a sunny Sunday afternoon, Malmö FF hosted Kalmar FF at Swedbank Stadion in front of an audience of 12,736 spectators. After a tough start to the match, things eventually picked up. After 48 minutes, we saw the first substitution as Kalmar FF replaced Romario Pereira Sipiao with Ismael Silva Lima. Shortly thereafter, Malmö FF's Filip Helander received a yellow card.
After 13 minutes of play, Malmö FF took the lead through Jiloan Mohamed Hamad, assisted by Dardan Rexhepi. This came after a nice pass that Hamad was able to slot into the net. With Malmö FF's lead came several yellow cards, as they tried to prevent Kalmar FF from equalizing.

Erik Berg was also substituted for Malmö FF, with Alexander Blomqvist coming on. Anton Agebjörn replaced Henrik Rydström for Kalmar FF.
The match ultimately ended 1-0 in favor of Malmö FF, who managed to hold on despite several dangerous chances from Kalmar FF.
