BK Häcken secured an important victory in Allsvenskan as they faced Mjällby AIF at Rambergsvallen. In front of a crowd of 2,440, the match began with a high tempo and a couple of early cautions, first for Dioh Williams of Häcken and then for Daniel Nicklasson of Mjällby.
In the 62nd minute, two substitutions were made, with Mattias Håkansson replacing Andreas Blomqvist for Mjällby, while Simon Gustafson came on for Dominic Chatto in Häcken. Shortly thereafter, Häcken took the lead when René Makondele Muzola scored to make it 1-0 after an assist from Björn Anklev in the 66th minute.

The victory was very valuable for BK Häcken, allowing them to pull away from the bottom of the table and climb to tenth place. Mjällby AIF retains their third place in the table despite the loss.
