AIK’s coach chose to substitute Robin Quaison in the 67th minute, but it was AIK's number 21, Chibuike Kennedy Igboananike, who scored with assistance from Martin Kayongo-Mutumba, increasing the lead to 3-2 in the 74th minute.

Halmstad was now desperate to equalize, and AIK substituted two of their players in hopes of maintaining the lead. Halmstad also made two substitutions to strengthen their offense.

The match ended in a thrilling conclusion when Halmstad finally equalized with a beautiful goal from Johan Blomberg, assisted by Jesper Westerberg, in the 90th minute. Additionally, Robin Quaison received a red card in stoppage time, making it even harder for AIK to regain the lead.

The match ended 3-3, and AIK is now in 11th place in the standings while Halmstads BK is second to last. It was a highly entertaining match that provided many chances and excitement right up to the final whistle.
