Helsingborgs IF broke through Syrianska FC's defense and won the match 0-1 in front of a crowd of 2572 on Sunday evening at Södertälje Fotbollsarena in Allsvenskan. Syrianska's Sharbel Touma received an early warning just 5 minutes in, followed by his teammate Rabi Elia who was cautioned after 27 minutes. Haris Skenderovic also received a warning for the home team after 31 minutes.
Just before halftime, Christoffer Andersson was substituted for Helsingborgs IF, with Erlend Hanstveit coming on in his place. At the beginning of the second half, it looked like Syrianska FC might take the lead, but in the 61st minute, Helsingborg's Alejandro Bedoya broke through and scored the opening goal. David Accam provided the assist.
