AIK and BK Häcken met at Rambergsvallen, where the teams delivered an exciting and high-scoring match in front of an audience of 4,531. It was AIK that took the lead after just four minutes with a beautiful header from Chibuike Kennedy Igboananike, assisted by Martin Kayongo-Mutumba. BK Häcken fought their way back into the match and equalized in the 38th minute through Mostapha El Kabir, with an assist from René Makondele Muzola.

In the second half, it was again AIK that took the lead, this time with Igboananike scoring in the 52nd minute, assisted by Kayongo-Mutumba. BK Häcken brought on Nasiru Mohammed and Kari Arkivuo to try to create more chances, but instead, it was AIK that extended their lead through Martin Lorentzson, assisted by Kayongo-Mutumba.

BK Häcken didn't give up and substituted in Carlos Strandberg to generate more offensive power. That change paid off when Strandberg managed to reduce the score to 2-3 in the 87th minute, assisted by Simon Gustafson. Despite the late surge from the home team, AIK managed to hold on and take three points back to Stockholm. It was a high-scoring and entertaining match that showcased both teams' fighting spirit and offensive strengths.
