AIK displayed strong and offensive play when they faced IF Elfsborg at the National Arena in Friends Arena in Allsvenskan. After 18 minutes, the home team got rewarded when Celso Borges Mora beautifully found the net with an assist from Martin Kayongo-Mutumba, giving AIK a 1-0 lead.

IF Elfsborg brought on Simon Hedlund in the second half to try to turn the game around, and it paid off. In the 71st minute, Hedlund scored with an assist from Mohamed Bangura, equalizing the match at 1-1.

However, AIK did not back down, and they regained the lead in the 74th minute when Martin Lorentzson made a strong shot with an assist from Martin Kayongo-Mutumba, sending the ball into the net and making it 2-1 for AIK.
