It was an intense match at Tele2 Arena where both teams played with high energy and gave everything to seize victory. Djurgården started strong, and after just six minutes of play, Andreas Johansson scored the team's first goal. However, AIK quickly responded and equalized through Nabil Bahoui after a nice assist from Martin Kayongo-Mutumba. After a tough first half hour, AIK took the lead when Henok Goitom scored with Bahoui providing the assist. Djurgården fought back and managed to equalize before halftime through Amadou Jawo, who received an assist from Godsway Donyoh. The second half was also eventful with several chances for both sides, but neither team could decide the match. In the end, the match finished in a draw, 2-2, earning one point for each team, but for Djurgården, it did not make much of a difference in the standings as they remained in tenth place. For AIK, the draw meant a point that allowed them to retain fourth place. Referee Stefan Johannesson showed a total of three yellow cards, two to Djurgården and one to AIK.
