Match in Allsvenskan 2013

Venue: Olympia, Helsingborg
Attendance: 7,782
It was an intense match at Olympia where Helsingborg faced Kalmar in Sunday’s Allsvenskan encounter. The home team seemed to have the upper hand in the first half, and it didn't take long before they opened the scoring through Imad Khalili in the 38th minute. Khalili's goal came after a pass from Emil Krafth, and you could see how the crowd at Olympia gained new energy. Helsingborg continued to press, and in the 65th minute, Arnór Smárason doubled the lead to 2-0 after receiving a pass from Emmanuel Agyenim Boateng.
Kalmar seemed lost and in need of a change, which coach Magnus Pehrsson recognized, making three substitutions in the 66th minute. This turned out to be a success, as David Elm was able to reduce the deficit to 2-1 in the 73rd minute after a nice assist from Jonathan Ring. After Elm's goal, Kalmar took over more and more, and in the 80th minute, Nenad Djordjevic equalized to 2-2 after an assist from Jonathan Mc Donald Porras. Helsingborg appeared tired, and coach Roar Hansen chose to substitute Alvaro Santos in the 80th minute in an attempt to secure a point. But it would prove to be too late, as David Elm tipped in the ball in the 89th minute after a perfect pass from Jonathan Ring, thus leading Kalmar FF to a 3-2 victory.
Kalmar FF can thank their late substitutions and the ambition to come back for winning this match. Once they started to move, it became difficult for Helsingborg to handle their offensive. The result means that Kalmar FF climbs to sixth place in the table with 44 points, while Helsingborg IF is in third place with 49 points.
