But BK Häcken did not give up, and just six minutes later, René Makondele Muzola equalized after a fine assist from Martin Ericsson. Åtvidabergs FF quickly responded with a goal from John Owoeri after a pass from Kristian Bergström, giving the home side a 2-1 lead.

However, the match was far from over, and the away team continued to fight. Oscar Lewicki from BK Häcken received a yellow card after 61 minutes of play, and shortly thereafter, they made their second substitution with Dioh Williams coming on for Lewicki.

BK Häcken worked hard but had to race against the clock. Leonard Zuta received a yellow card after 72 minutes, and both teams made player substitutions after 73 minutes—Joel Rajalakso came on for John Owoeri at Åtvidabergs FF, while Simon Gustafson replaced Dominic Chatto for BK Häcken.

But it was the away team that would manage to score the last goal of the match when Anklev found the equalizer, making it 2-2, from a corner kick in the 87th minute.

The match ended in a 2-2 draw, and thus the season came to a close. Åtvidabergs FF finished in eighth place in the table, while BK Häcken ended up in tenth place.
