In the second half, Kalmar continued to be dangerous, and Söderqvist extended the lead to 2-0 after an hour of play, again assisted by Ring. IF Brommapojkarna fought hard and got a consolation goal through Gabriel Petrovic, but it was too late for a comeback.

The match was physical and intense, resulting in several warnings from referee Jonas Eriksson. IF Brommapojkarna also received a red card when Jacob Larsson was shown his second yellow card.
