Åtvidabergs FF delivered an impressive performance during Monday night's match against IF Elfsborg at Kopparvallen. After a balanced start, where both teams had chances to take the lead, it was the home side that seized the initiative. In the 19th minute, Kristian Bergström made a fine pass to Ricardo Da Silva Dos Santos, who skillfully faked out the goalkeeper and put the ball in the net – 1-0 to Åtvidabergs FF.
IF Elfsborg tried to respond but instead faced a disappointing start to the second half with two cautions in quick succession. Åtvidabergs FF continued their strong play, and in the 66th minute, Mohammed Abubakari increased the lead to 2-0 after a nice collaboration between him and Bergström.

They finally succeeded in the 87th minute when Frick scored, assisted by Niklas Hult. However, Åtvidabergs FF managed to hold on and secured the victory with a score of 2-1.
