Strandberg, who had a fantastic match, continued to add to the score, increasing the lead to 0-2 in the 29th minute. It was a completely superior first half by the guests, and only a few chances were created by Mjällby.

In the 32nd minute, it was time again for BK Häcken, and this time it was René Makondele Muzola who scored after a fine pass from Strandberg. At halftime, the score was 0-3, and there was no doubt about which team was the best on the field.

In the second half, Mjällby AIF tried to rectify the poor result, and in the 82nd minute, Mattias Håkansson managed to score a consolation goal, assisted by Andreas Blomqvist. But BK Häcken continued to push, and in the 80th minute, Gustafson was able to score his second goal of the match after a pass from Ivo Dominik Pekalski.
