AIK was able to secure an important 4-2 victory against IF Brommapojkarna after a tough match at Nationalarenan on Monday night. BP started the match strong and just 5 minutes in, Gabriel Petrovic scored the opening goal for the visitors with a nice assist from Nicklas Bärkroth. But AIK quickly responded, and after 8 minutes, Nabil Bahoui leveled the match with a fine pass from Ibrahim Moro.

After a balanced period in the match, AIK took the lead after 26 minutes when Eero Markkanen found the back of the net behind BP's goalkeeper. However, BP was not willing to give up and continued to fight, which led to Dardan Rexhepi equalizing to 2-2 just two minutes later with an assist from goal scorer Petrovic. But AIK also refused to back down, and within just 30 seconds, Eero Markkanen once again put the ball in the net, this time with an assist from Robin Quaison.

The score of 3-2 held until halftime, but both teams continued to press for a decisive goal in the second half. AIK eventually managed to extend their lead in the 38th minute when Nabil Bahoui scored his second goal of the evening with an assist from Robin Quaison. BP tried to keep fighting, but AIK held firm defensively and secured an important 4-2 victory.

After the match, AIK sits in 4th place in the standings while BP remains at the bottom. Referee Michael Lerjéus officiated the match impartially and had no issues controlling the game. A total of 15,637 soccer fans were present at Friends Arena to witness AIK's crucial victory in Allsvenskan.
