Örebro achieved a solid home victory against AIK on Sunday evening. The match at Behrn Arena featured a fair amount of drama, and Örebro gained an early lead. Just eight minutes in, the ball was behind AIK’s goalkeeper when Alhassan A Haestad Kamara skillfully shot in 1-0 with an assist from Marcus Pode.

AIK tried to get back into the match, but Örebro's defense was strong, and after 17 minutes, Marcus Pode increased the lead to 2-0 following a fine assist from Robert Åhman Persson. Örebro continued to dominate, and it wasn’t long before they scored another goal. This time it was again Marcus Pode who found the back of the net after a pass from Nordin Gerzic.

In the second half, AIK attempted to find their rhythm but struggled to get the ball into the net. However, Henok Goitom managed to reduce the deficit to 3-1 just before halftime.

In the second half, Örebro made two substitutions, and AIK managed to put pressure on for an equalizer. After a while, Chibuike Kennedy Igboananike found the net, bringing AIK back to 3-2.

However, the match would be decided by Örebro. Ahmed Yasin scored after a nice pass from Nordin Gerzic, making the final score 4-2. Örebro was the stronger team this evening and took a much-needed victory in Allsvenskan.
