Halmstads BK humiliated Helsingborgs IF with a 4-1 victory in an intense match at Olympia. Just 26 minutes in, Kristinn Steindórsson scored the opening goal for the away team, following a nice pass from Jesper Westerberg.

Helsingborgs IF made several substitutions in an attempt to turn the match around, but nothing helped. Instead, Mikael Boman scored his second goal of the evening, extending Halmstad's lead to 4-1, assisted by Gudjón Baldvinsson.
