AIK dominated from the start in today's match against Åtvidabergs FF at Friends Arena. Already in the seventh minute, Ebenezer Ofori found the net after a nice assist from Alexander Milošević, giving the home team the lead.
Nabil Bahoui was also in great form in today's match, increasing AIK's lead in the 32nd minute. Once again, it was Ofori who provided the assist. Bahoui continued to threaten upfront and scored his second goal of the day just nine minutes later after a fine pass from Celso Borges Mora.
In the second half, Åtvidabergs FF substituted Simon Skrabb for John Owoeri, and it turned out to be a successful move. Skrabb managed to find Ricardo Da Silva Dos Santos in the 67th minute, who scored for the visiting team.
But just three minutes later, AIK restored their three-goal lead after Milošević accidentally headed the ball into his own net. However, Milošević would get his revenge in the 70th minute when he headed in a goal on the right side of the pitch following a corner kick from Borges Mora.
Substituted players on both sides could not make a difference in the final moments of the match, and AIK won 4-1 in front of a packed Friends Arena. With this important victory, AIK climbs to seventh place in Allsvenskan and still has a chance to qualify for the Europa League next season.
