It was a nerve-wracking match at Guldfågeln Arena as Kalmar FF faced Helsingborgs IF in Allsvenskan on Saturday afternoon. In front of an audience of 8,132, both teams were very tactical and defensive, which resulted in a goalless draw.

Referee Bojan Pandzic and his assistants Joakim Flink and Joakim Amri Nilsson were busy on the field and had to issue four yellow cards during the match. Astrit Ajdarevic received the first warning for Helsingborgs IF in the 61st minute, followed by Lalawele Atakora, who also got a yellow card for Helsingborgs IF in the 70th minute. Kalmar FF's Nenad Djordjevic received a warning in stoppage time, in the 92nd minute.

Kalmar FF made two substitutions in the second half to try and bring in some new ideas to their game, and it seemed to work when Jonathan Ring came onto the field in the 64th minute. However, despite Kalmar FF having several dangerous goal-scoring opportunities, they were unable to find the net. Romario Pereira Sipiao was later substituted in the 65th minute to add some extra speed and creativity to the offense, but he too failed to score.

Helsingborgs IF made three substitutions, the first being Emmanuel Agyenim Boateng who came on in the 73rd minute to replace Lalawele Atakora. Robin Simovic was substituted in the 78th minute for Jordan Larsson, and Andreas Landgren came on for Darijan Bojanic in the 81st minute. But like Kalmar FF, Helsingborgs IF also struggled to create scoring chances.

After 90 minutes plus stoppage time, the match between Kalmar FF and Helsingborgs IF ended 0-0. Both teams were satisfied with a point but, of course, are hoping for a win in their next match.
