The attendance was 4,264 people, and everyone was excited for an entertaining football match. The referee for the day was Martin Hansson, assisted by Magnus Sjöblom and Andreas Söderkvist.

With five minutes left in the match, Halmstad made their final changes, bringing Simon Silverholt onto the field for Shkodran Maholli. But it was not enough for an equalizer, and Falkenberg could win the match 1-0.
