Expectations were high ahead of the match, especially from the home crowd who were hoping for a win from the Malmö team to climb up the table. But unfortunately it was a tough night for Malmö FF who lost with the numbers 0 - 3 against a well-playing Häcken.

The match had barely started before referee Martin Hansson handed out a warning to Häcken's Diego Alfredo Lugano Moreno in the 18th minute. The first goal of the evening would come at the start of the second half when Samuel Gustafson for Häcken put the ball in the net in the 48th minute, after a nice assist from Simon Gustafson. Just six minutes later, in the 56th minute, Häcken increased their lead with a goal from Nasiru Mohammed, again with an assist from Simon Gustafson. Malmö FF tried desperately to find their way back into the game by making two changes and by trying to push the game up. But Häcken were quick to convert and continued to dominate.

For Malmö FF, the night was anything but good when Victor Yoshimar Yotun Flores was cautioned in the 66th minute and just ten minutes later Erdal Rakip was also cautioned. BK Häcken showed an impressive team performance with their tactical play, and when referee Martin Hansson blew the whistle, it was clear that BK Häcken had won the match with the numbers 0 - 3.

BK Häcken could thank their outstanding performances from Samuel Gustafson, Nasiru Mohammed and Egzon Binaku for the three points.
